KBRS has announced the appointment of Ryna Young as its new Regional Head of Executive Search and Co-Lead for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), stationed in Toronto, Ontario. With more than 20 years of experience in executive search, Young offers extensive expertise in leadership solutions integration, bolstering KBRS’s services in these critical areas.
Andrea Forbes Hurley, Managing Partner of Executive Search at KBRS, commented on the growing demand for expert talent advisors across Canada. “We’ve successfully placed hundreds of leaders in various sectors nationwide over the past five years,” she stated. “Ryna will be pivotal in further developing our comprehensive talent strategy and executive search initiatives, not only in Ontario but also nationally.”
Young joins KBRS’s robust team of over 70 professionals who provide a range of talent solutions including professional recruitment, assessment, coaching, and DEI strategy. Her role will involve close collaboration with DEI Co-Lead, Amorell Saunders N’Daw, to enhance client strategies on diversity and inclusion through equitable practices and informed counsel. Her international experience across four continents enriches her global approach to leadership.

Young holds a psychology degree from the University of Windsor and is a certified coach through the NeuroLeadership Institute. She also serves on the AESC North American Diversity Leadership Council.
