Acuity Insights has been named one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2026, the second consecutive year the higher education technology company has received the recognition from Mediacorp Canada Inc.
The Toronto-based company provides admissions assessment, program management and analytics solutions to higher education institutions. Its Casper situational judgment test has been taken by more than 1 million people since its launch.
Remote-first workplace model
Acuity Insights operates a remote-first work environment with self-directed vacation time and a two-week year-end rest period across the company. The company provides employees with access to a downtown Toronto coworking space and hosts optional regular coworking days.

Selection criteria
Greater Toronto’s Top Employers, now in its 20th year, is an editorial competition managed by Mediacorp Canada Inc. Editors review applicants on eight categories: workplace, work atmosphere and social programs, health and financial benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.
The competition is open to organizations headquartered or operating primarily in the Greater Toronto Area. Mediacorp publishes detailed reasons for each employer’s selection.
Acuity Insights has been recognized as one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies by the Globe and Mail for six consecutive years. The company’s Casper test is backed by almost 20 years of efficacy research, according to the company.
