UKG has appointed Rod Johnson as chief revenue officer, effective June 1, 2026, as the workforce software company pushes to expand its global market reach.
Johnson reports to chief executive officer Jennifer Morgan and will lead UKG’s global revenue organization.
“I joined UKG because the company is uniquely positioned to lead the next era of AI for the workforce,” said Johnson. “UKG sits at the center of the labor challenges every organization is trying to solve — from staffing and scheduling to retention, compliance, and employee experience.”
Johnson joins from Oracle, where he most recently served as executive vice president of North America Applications, overseeing one of the company’s largest enterprise software-as-a-service portfolios. He has also held the chief revenue officer role at Infor, where he led global sales teams across multiple industry sectors.
Background and experience
At both Oracle and Infor, Johnson focused on aligning sales teams to drive revenue growth and building customer and partner relationships in complex markets.
“Rod knows how to help organizations operate and grow through periods of transformation and change,” said Morgan. “As we continue expanding globally, his experience leading large-scale revenue organizations and building strong customer partnerships will help us move faster, execute with greater focus, and continue gaining market share.”
Johnson said UKG’s depth of workforce data sets it apart from competitors. “With 50 years of workforce intelligence and unmatched frontline expertise, UKG can deliver AI that doesn’t just automate tasks, but helps organizations run better while creating more meaningful and empowering experiences for the people doing the work,” he said.
